FOUNDER'S EXPERIENCE
In 1987, Liu Meichun single-handedly founded Qianhui. At that time, the company had only two employees, she and her husband. Now, after 36 years of development, Qianhui has become a professional home textile production and operation enterprise with more than 60 acres of factory buildings, fixed assets 260 million RMB, and nearly 100 employees. It owns three brands, "Qianhui", "Beiguo Spring" and "Haojia", five series, and hundreds of products, integrating R & D, production and sales. The products are sold to more than ten countries in Japan, South Korea, South Asia, Central Asia,the Middle East and Europe, and more than 160 specialty stores and sales counters have been established in large and medium-sized cities in China. The company has successively obtained the famous trademark of Qingdao City, the assured enterprise of Qingdao City, the brand of Shandong Province, and the famous trademark of Shandong Province. The products have been certified by ISO9001-2000 international quality system. In the same industry, priority is given to the "China Environmental Label Green Ecological Textile" certification, and it has been awarded the "30-year, 30-strong, 30-person" enterprise of private economic development in Qingdao for 30 years of reform and opening up. At the age of 18, Liu Meichun joined the Qingdao Haiyan Knitting Factory as a knitter. Because she was not afraid of hardship and was eager to learn and capable, she was elected as the workshop director two months after entering the factory. But a few years later, the company went bankrupt. At that time, her newly married family conditions were very ordinary, and she had an elderly mother-in-law and an old woman to support and take care of. As a new daughter-in-law who had just passed through the door, she felt it was her responsibility and obligation to work hard to make a good life for her family.
When she got married, friends in Qingdao gave her a pair of quilt covers with diamond-shaped mouths, which were very fashionable at the time. Because she had done knitting before, she was keenly aware that there must be a market for this kind of bedding. After consulting with her husband, she borrowed 1,500 yuan to buy half a cloth and set up a large chopping board in her new house to work on the quilt cover. In this way, a chopping board, a ruler, a cutting knife, and two sewing machines began her entrepreneurial career.
Due to the emphasis on quality, integrity, and the ability to design and produce products according to the special needs of customers, the product sales quickly opened up and successfully entered the state-run large shopping mall. At this time, a bold idea flashed through her mind - register a company and do a big job. Then she registered and established Qianhui Embroidery Co., Ltd. At that time, people had prejudices against self-employed products, and it was indeed a great thing to be recognized by the state-run shopping mall. She and her husband traveled to major cities in the province and went in one big shopping mall to find them, but almost everywhere they went, they had to look at people's eyes and be scolded by others. There were too many "closed doors" to eat, and the husband and wife were a little scared. They stood outside the manager's office. Often you pushed me in to introduce, and I pushed you in to introduce.
When Qingdao Hualian Commercial Building first opened, she and her husband were kicked out of the house after running six times in a row. On the seventh trip, she gave up and agreed with the manager that if Qianhui products did not sell well, they would compensate for the loss according to the high rental price at the counter. As a result, the products became very popular as soon as they were put on the shelves, and the mall called almost every day to urge the goods. At the checkout at the end of the year, the mall manager took her hand and said: "Thank you so much! Working with you has not only benefited a lot, but more importantly, you have changed my concept - self-employed people can still produce good products!"
Doing business is not smooth sailing. Liu Meichun deeply realized that as long as you can grit your teeth, there is no flaming mountain that cannot be crossed.
In the 1980s, individual businesses developed rapidly, many state-owned and collective shopping malls declined in efficiency, and even closed down. The shopping malls in Taiwan, Weihai and Jinan alone owed her 270,000 yuan for goods. It was difficult to retrieve funds, and Liu Meichun was suddenly in trouble. Thinking about the 20,000 yuan owed to her aunt's family, the 30,000 yuan owed to her aunt's family, the famine of a pen could stack up into a mountain, and her scalp was at first glance, and she couldn't sleep all night.
Once at 4 am, Liu Meichun took a long-distance bus to collect debts. A shopping mall in Wendeng owed her more than 130,000, and the other party ran several times in a row but had no money., the mall manager sent kindness and gave her 600 yuan. With 600 yuan, when Liu Meichun took the car back to Jimo, it was already dark. From Wendeng to Jimo, she could only get off on Qingyi Road at that time. There was no phone at home, and there was no mobile phone on her body. She couldn't contact her family. At that time, the "motorcycle" ran to Balizhuang for 4 yuan. She bargained for 3 yuan and still couldn't bear to sit. She simply counted the poles and ran home. For each pole, she was closer to home.Hundreds of thousands of arrears, as long as less than half of them were returned.
During the difficult times of the company, Qianhui's employees gave Liu Meichun great support, and none of them left her. Everyone worked together to find a way and find a way out. Wisdom comes from wisdom, and strength comes from strength. With the full help of employees, she got through the difficulties, and the production and operation of the company were back on track.
In 2000, Liu Meichun moved the company to the development zone and started the second stage of entrepreneurship. Today,the company has developed on a rolling basis, and has built more than 10 million yuan of office buildings, workshop buildings, dormitory buildings and foreign reception offices covering an area of more than 8,000 square meters. They have built 10,000 meters of asphalt roads, installed 40 street lamps, built a new small square of nearly 4,000 square meters, hardened factory pavement of 1,500 square meters, green factory area of 2,000 square meters, garden-style factory, 800 square meters of restaurants, standardized apartment management for 4 people, free heating for employees, dormitories for bathing rooms, workshops with complete heating facilities, and a new environmentally friendly green textile production base. Even the Olympic Committee audit team sighed when they came to inspect. They said that it is not easy for a private enterprise to achieve this step for its employees.
